Dead Flood of Dwfn Eir-Gron

Mini-Dungeon for four to five characters of levels 7-8

Five days ago, as the dwarven copper mine Dwfn Eir-Grøn (Duv-n Irr-Gro:n) celebrated another century of profitable work, its citywide party ended prematurely by a drow assault. Hundreds of intoxicated workers, warriors and others fell to drow weapons and poisons, and disappeared into the Underworld, their fates unknown. The lamentations of the remaining dwarves roused their deity Goifannus, who turned every shed tear into a great torrent that flooded the mines before flowing as swift rivers along the passages from the city. Now Goifannus’ clerics have sent parties to reclaim the abducted dwarves, or at least their mortal remains.
