Artificer Specialist: The Architpet

This Artificer subclass introduces a fully modular construct companion designed to adapt alongside its creator. Rather than locking your invention into a single role, you can exchange its components during a long rest, allowing you to rebuild it for whatever challenge lies ahead. 

Configure your companion as a durable frontline combatant, a stealthy exploration partner, a specialized support unit, or something entirely your own. As you gain Artificer levels, you unlock increasingly powerful modular improvements that expand what your creation can do. 

You can customize your companion through two interconnected systems: 

• Apply Artificer Infusions to enhance its equipment and abilities. 
• Select interchangeable upgrades that alter its movement, defenses, attacks, utility, and role within the party. 

The combination of modular components and Artificer Infusions offers an enormous number of possible configurations. Two characters using the same subclass can create companions that look, function, and play completely differently. 

This subclass adds additional depth to an already highly customizable class, rewarding experimentation, preparation, and creative problem-solving. Your invention is never truly finished. Continue tinkering, test new designs, and rebuild your companion to overcome whatever challenge comes next.
