You voted, now here are the winners!

The 1st-Place Codex for Tales of the Valiant and 5th Edition is a collection of archived and unused concepts that we had our fans vote on towards the end of 2025, picking the most popular concept from each category we refined our drafts and produced the 1st-Place Codex!

This Codex is for winners, and contains the following contents from the top of their class:

• The Spell Eater monk, a monk tradition focused on countering magic and magical creatures.
• The Mindcarver dagger, a dagger which can afflict horrible mental effects.
• The Apothecary talent/feat, a technical talent focused around quick potion making and modifying.
• The spell Gravity Pass, a cantrip that lets you move objects nearly invisibly by harnessing the power of gravity.
• The Mossback Titan, a massive snail mount capable of moving whole structures.
• The Candlekin lineage/race, a short-lived race of adventurous candle-folk.
• The Dead World heritage/background, for characters escaping from a dead or dying world.
• The Summoner's Shade binding (for our Summoner Class), allowing you to channel the power of a dead colleague of the art of summoning to call upon a myriad of strange beasts.
