Fallen Heroes Codex

The Fallen Heroes Codex is a collection of new character options designed around the concept of someone who fall from power and is trying to grab back what was lost.

Four new subclasses each incorporate a unique take on the idea of powers lost. The Diminished rogue was once a creature of legendary power diminished to live its life as a feeble humanoid. The Hedge Mage wizard fell from prominence and was denied entry to the college of their choosing, now relegated to shadows they make due with what magic they can find. The Shattered Soul monk had their connection to their mind and body served and now summons aspects of their former self to fight along side them. The Storm Accord druid made a deal and lost control over their formidable storm magic, now unleashed uncontrolled storms to fight their foes.

Three new magic items each carrying the souls of the fallen champions that once wielded them. Three new talents and feats to exemplify the loss of power. Forgotten Strength for heroes who once excelled with weapons, Heightened Aptitude for those who used to be exceptionally skilled, and Reminiscent Arcana for those not able to wield the magic they once did. Finally the new Fallen Hero background to round out the backstory of your hero who has fallen from grace and now seeks to regain the power they have lost.
