Acooskas are raccoon-sized marsupials that live on the edges of forests bordering large meadows or grasslands. They spend the majority of their time foraging in their small territories for fruits and vegetables as well as guarding its perimeters against predators. On the surface, these stumpy animals would seem to be incapable of properly protecting themselves, but they have an explosive means of defending their dens that catches many an adventurer off their guard.
